SSAA MUZZLE LOADING Class 1 – Cap & Ball Revolver

Muzzleloading is an interactive discipline that caters to the original and replica rifles, muskets, handguns and shotguns that were used during Australia’s colonial days.

PISTOL:  Original and Replica Cap and Ball Revolvers “In the Spirit of the Originals” must be used. The height of the foresight can be varied so long as it remains the original style.

RESTRICTIONS: No grip modifications are allowed.

AMMUNITION: Ball and conical lead bullets only

TARGET: ISSF  25/50m Precision Target

COURSE OF FIRE:

  • Precision stage – 13 shots in 30 minutes.
  • Timed Stage – 13 shots in two series of five and one series of three with 4 second exposures.

SCORING:  Highest 10 shots for each stage are scored. Maximum obtainable score is 200.

GRADING:  N/A for this event.
