The 10m Air pistol is an ISSF event shot by both men and women at all levels of competition up to and including the Olympics and Paralympics.

The 10m Air Pistol event is arguably the most mentally demanding event.

PISTOL: Any .177, 4.5 mm air pistol

PISTOL SPECIFICS:
  Overall weight less than 1500g
  Minimum trigger pull: 500 g
  Must fit inside 42 mm x 200mm x 50mm box.

RESTRICTIONS: No scopes or red dot sights are allowed. Other specific restrictions apply and can be found in the rules for this event.

AMMUNITION: .177 diablo air pellets  

TARGET: ISSF 10m target

COURSE OF FIRE: 60 shots for Men & Junior Men in 90 minutes
40 shots for Women & Junior Women in 60 minutes

SCORING: Maximum possible scoring is 600 for men and 400 for women. The World Record currently stands at 594 points for men and 394 points for women.
